Smith School was a historic elementary school in Oshkosh, opening its doors in 1896 and designed by renowned architect William Waters. Waters, known for his work across Oshkosh in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, created notable landmarks such as the Oshkosh Public Library, the Grand Opera House, and the Oshkosh Public Museum, in addition to designing many beautiful historic homes throughout the city.
